Administration Meeting high academic and biblical
standards
Mr. Wellington Watts shares the
common goal of providing our children with both academic
and spiritual training. With 32 years in education,
Mr. Watts has spent time as both an administrator
and a teacher. Additionally he has taught in both
public and private school settings. "Education
in general, is important," says Watts, "but,
the best of education prepares you only for this life
if Christ is not part of the equation. A Christian
education is significant because it puts education
in its significance and context; it prepares us for
this life and the next."
Mr. Watts encourages his teachers
to engage students, sharing personal experiences to
help students make spiritual connections between events
that have factual relevance. "It is important
for me that our student recognize the relevancy of
everyday events. Unless spiritual connections are
made, life is just a series of repetitions."
Mr. Watts is a songwriter, poet and author. Log on
to Unity Music to read some of his writings and listen
to his music. Flash technology is used to create a
music video of such songs as, "Mary's
Song."
