Bible Quiz 2008 Awards
Congratulations to the Bible Quiz Team! The ACA Lights came in fourth place at the Black Rock Retreat this year. Christy Lamastra and Missy Civile both won All Star awards. They were nominated by coaches from other schools in their division for their sportsmanship and character.

Bible Quizzing Now Offered at ACA
Bible Quizzing is a new activity this year at Ambassador Christian Academy, and is open to middle school students. Each year the teams compete against other Christian schools from New Jersey and Pennsylvania in the area of scripture memorization. Students are challenged to memorize approximately 250 verses in a given passage of scripture (KJV). This year, we are memorizing specific chapters in the book of Genesis. Mrs. Civile teaches the class during the regular Bible period in school.

Quizzing is an exciting, academic-style competition with emphasis on not only scoring points but, just as importantly, on character development and good sportsmanship. Competition begins in late January and ends in early March, culminating with a Black Rock Retreat. You will learn more about this exciting program in the days ahead.
